Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

Last updated: 1 August 2026 · NeuraNest Agency, Tarneit VIC 3029

NeuraNest Agency ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information, and it is written to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

It applies to nnai.com.au and to every service we provide.

Who we are

What we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you and deliver the work. That is:

Information you give us

  • Contact details — your name, email, phone number and business name, when you submit an enquiry or audit request.
  • Business information — your website address, the services you are interested in, and anything you tell us about your goals.
  • Correspondence — the content of emails, calls and messages between us.
  • Conversations with our AI assistant — if you use the voice or chat assistant on this site, the messages you send are processed to answer your question.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard server and analytics data such as your approximate location, browser type, pages viewed and time of visit.
  • This is aggregate and is used to understand how the site performs, not to identify you personally.
We do not collect sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act — no health, biometric, racial, religious, political or sexual-orientation data. Please do not send it to us.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare your free audit.
  • To deliver the services you have engaged us for.
  • To send you information about your project.
  • To improve this website and our services.
  • To meet legal and record-keeping obligations.

We will only use your information for the purpose you gave it to us for, or a directly related purpose you would reasonably expect.

What we will never do

  • We will never sell your personal information. Not to anyone, at any price.
  • We will never add you to a marketing list without your consent, and every email we send has a working unsubscribe link.
  • We will never share your business data with your competitors.
  • We will never publish you as a client, testimonial or case study without your explicit written permission.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary to run the business, and only with providers who are bound to protect it:

  • Hosting and infrastructure — Google Firebase, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
  • AI assistant — Google Gemini, which processes the messages you send to the assistant on this site so it can respond. Do not enter sensitive information into the assistant.
  • Email — our email provider, to receive and reply to your enquiry.
  • Analytics — where used, in aggregate form.

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia. By using this site you consent to that overseas disclosure, on the understanding that we choose providers with recognised security and privacy standards.

Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies and local browser storage — for example, remembering whether you prefer light or dark mode. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time; the site will still work.

How we protect it

We keep personal information on reputable, access-controlled platforms, limit who can see it to those who need it, and delete it when it is no longer required. No online transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not proceed — deleted within 12 months.
  • Client records — kept for the duration of the engagement and then as long as legally required for tax and record-keeping purposes (generally 5 years).
  • Assistant conversations — not retained by us beyond what is needed to answer you.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it.
  • Opt out of any communications at any time.
  • Complain if you believe we have mishandled your information.

To exercise any of these, email info@nnai.com.au. We will respond within 30 days, and there is no charge for a reasonable request.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, contact us first and we will try to resolve it. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting existing clients will be notified by email.
